David Winston, Inc. has been providing research as well as designing and developing products for the herbal and nutritional industry for over 20 years.  

DWI provides consulting services to physicians, herbalists, and other healthcare professionals interested in utilizing herbal therapies with their patients.  Practitioners can be billed in as little as 15 minute increments and services include clinical consultations for discussing specific patients, reviewing existing patient protocols, reviewing herbs and other medications for possible herb/drug interactions, as well as consultations to the legal profession as an expert witness in cases regarding herbal medicine.

Our customers have included small start-up companies, established herb/supplement companies, and multi-national drug companies.  Projects for these companies include product design from start to finish, raw material sourcing, product redevelopment, supporting research and data for new or existing products, DSHEA documentation for structure/function claims, and patent claims feasibility research.

Our many years of experience and our 8,000 volume research library allow us to do research and product development in a cost effective yet very detailed manner.  Customer confidentiality is assured and we design effective, safe, and thoroughly researched products – some of which you may already be using!

He is a  well respected educator, speaking at symposia, medical schools, universities,  and for professional organizations (hospitals, continuing education seminars,  etc.) throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.  He has over 33 years of  training in Cherokee, Chinese, and Western/Eclectic herbal medical traditions, is an  experienced clinician, and is comfortable speaking on a wide range of topics.
