Comments from Previous Students

"David Winston's Herbal Therapeutics,’ School of Botanical Medicine offers the most comprehensive and professional herbal education, with emphasis in the Scientific tradition, available to any serious student of herbal medicine in the USA today."

"David is clearly devoted to providing the most accurate and appropriate information on a wide range of subjects, including human disorders, herbal materia medica, diagnostic techniques, treatment protocols, dietary and lifestyle considerations as part of the curriculum.  His wide experience in clinical practice, his extensive research library, his Cherokee and Oriental Medicine training and his knowledge of manufacturing superior herbal products, combined with his casual, yet intensely thorough teaching style, brings a unique opportunity to get a wealth of information condensed into a two year program."

"It provided me with a solid foundation to begin clinical practice as an herbalist nurse, and David has been an ongoing resource of material during these two years since graduating.  I look forward to continuing in a graduate - level program, as knowledge is ongoing in this field, and with David's programs, I know I will always receive more than I anticipate."

"I am a gynecologist practicing more and more as a naturopath.  My specialty is in the use of natural hormones, and more importantly, I assist my patients in recognizing the doctor within, thus empowering them to heal.

What a wonderful experience I am having in David Winston's herb course.  Not only am I learning about an enormous amount of herbs which I can incorporate into my very busy practice; the beauty about my new wisdom is how I can be a bridge between traditional and herbal medicine.

This is not only a win-win situation for my patients, but more importantly for my physician colleagues who are ready and willing to expand their horizons."
